DOWNTOWN IMPROVEMENT (PHASE 2)

NEIGHBORHOOD NOTICE

The sidewalk and street work for the downtown improvements is scheduled to begin Monday May 21^st, 2012, with excavation starting on Wednesday May 23^rd. We would like to remind you that all personal items on the City sidewalks must be removed prior to sidewalk excavation of your section and remain off until further notice. Items left on in city right-of-way may be disposed of by the contractor at his discretion to allow the construction work to proceed. The work will progress as previously discussed in the Neighborhood meetings. The following is a tentative schedule (subject to change) for the blocks affected:

 West Side of Trade (6^th to 5^th Street)

Sidewalk Excavation May 21^st thru June 14^th

Sidewalk Concrete Pour on June 12^th, 13^th or 14^th (We will follow-up with exact date later)

 West side of Trade (5^th to 4^th Street)

Sidewalk Excavation June 11^th thru June 28^th

Sidewalk Concrete Pour on June 25^th, 26^th or 27^th (We will follow-up with exact date later)

East Side of Trade St. (Sherman to Maddox)

Sidewalk Excavation June 25^th thru August 6^th

Sidewalk Concrete Pour on July 18^th, 19^th, 23^rd, Aug 1^st or 2^nd (We will follow-up with exact date later)

Night-time Paving

August 7^th thru August 10^th

Remember access will be restricted to pedestrians only (No Vehicle access from Trade Street) during construction and no access from Trade Street will be available during sidewalk pours.
