The City of Amity has several projects scheduled to begin this year:
    

The Downtown Immprovements (Phase 2)
Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements (Phase 2)

Getchell Avenue Improvments (Maddox to 3rd)

As more information becomes available, we will post it under this section (City Projects).

The city has received another grant to extend those improvements further north.  ODOT has awarded us an additional $472,226 to make the same type of sidewalk improvements on the west side of Trade Street from Sherman to Woodson; on the east side of Trade Street from 6th Street to 4th Street and on 5th Street from Trade Street to the railroad.  This project is anticipated to begin in August of 2011 and be completed in early fall. 

The city was also awarded a $25,000 grant to repair and improve Getchell Avenue from Maddox to 3rd Avenue.
