Water & Sewer Rate Schedule

WATER RATES 

Consumption Charge:  The amount of water used in one billing cycle, from one meter reading (usually the third week of each month) to the next.  Bills will be generated at the end of each month and reflect usage between meter reading dates.

SEWER RATES

(As established by Resolution No. 2010-14)

Connection Charge:  A sewer customer is charged each billing cycle, based on the number of equivalent dwelling units (EDU’s). (Single family residential units are counted as one EDU, a duplex would be counted as two EDU’s, etc.).

Consumption Charge:  A consumption charge of $2.95 per unit of water consumed is based on a customer’s average water consumption during the billing cycles of November, December, and January from the previous fiscal year.  This time period is referred to as the “wintertime average.”

New accounts: For accounts established after February, a wintertime average will not be available.  Those accounts will be charged a flat sewer rate of $52.16 (connection charge + 4,000 gallons estimated usage) until that account has registered a wintertime average.

OTHER CHARGES

Deposit for new service or account: 
Water/Sewer- $150.00
Out of Town Water- $90.00
Sewer Only- $80.00

Posting Fees:  Per Notice $10.00

Reconnect Fee: Non-Payment Shut Off- $75.00

Late Fee:  $5.00 per billing cycle
if balance is greater than $20.00 on the 16th

Returned Check Fee: $30.00
